Drip irrigation is all about understanding how soil, insects, aspect and climate all need to be taken into account when selecting which products are right for a specific location and crop. From RDI, we also offer GrowStream, the world’s first and only plant-responsive water delivery system.
GrowStream Tube is a continuous low-pressure plant-responsive irrigation dripline. This tube is a microporous material that retains water until flow is triggered by plant root exudates. The tubing has no emitters, but releases water along its entire surface through millions of micropores.
GrowStream is suitable for landscape, parks, roadways, residential and commercial gardens, agriculture and humanitarian aid.
The key components of a GrowStream system are a water tank for gravity system, main line valves and fittings, a valve box and GrowStream fittings, and adjustable pressure regulator and, of course, GrowStream tube.
