Following the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), we are still open for business, however we are adhering to the advice given by Public Health England (PHE) and the government.
Therefore, this means that some KAR employees are now working from home, and some are still on a skeleton shift pattern of two teams that will work alternate weeks in the hope that the business can continue to operate without having to enforce any closures. We will still do our upmost to maintain our high level of customer service and technical support, with someone always readily available to help.
As our valued customers, your wellbeing and business is greatly important to us, therefore, our office and warehouse staff are practicing the correct procedures regarding hand washing, keeping distance and wearing the appropriate PPE.
During this time, as we are sure you can appreciate, this current situation may cause delays – both in our office response times and in our usual standard of offering our overnight service, but we will work to our very best ability to make the upcoming weeks run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
A number of you have asked about lead times for stock items; we are pleased to inform you, that generally speaking, we estimate that for over 90% of our stock lines we have enough stock to last till the end of the summer and probably beyond that.
It is safe to say that these are unprecedented times for us all, and we will work together to get through it.
