KAR UK is thrilled to announce the addition of Scott Rutter as its new Area Sales Manager, covering the North of the UK and Ireland. Scott brings over two decades of experience in the amenity sector, extensive product expertise, and a customer-centric approach to his new role, where he will be an instrumental part of KAR UK’s growth and customer service strategy in these regions.
After studying at the University of Manchester and earning a degree in International Business, Finance, and Economics, Scott joined Alpha Amenity—later becoming Agrovista Amenity—in April 2004. Over his 20-year tenure, Scott held various roles that provided him with a comprehensive perspective on business operations. His first 18 months at Agrovista were spent working in the warehouse, where he gained a foundational understanding of the logistical side of the business. He then transitioned into the sales office before moving into an external sales role in 2014.
During the last decade, Scott distinguished himself as a BASIS and FACTS-qualified Amenity Specialist, focusing on providing expert guidance to a diverse customer base, including professional and amateur sports clubs, golf clubs, schools, councils, contractors, and private estates across the North West and North Wales.
“Leaving a great company like Agrovista after 20 years is a daunting prospect,” Scott shared. “But I felt that the opportunity to learn something new and develop personally at KAR was too good to miss. I am very impressed with the culture and environment at KAR and am really excited to be taking the next step in my career by playing my part in KAR UK’s business development and growth.”
