KAR UK Ltd is delighted to welcome Tim Griffiths as Technical Sales Manager for Horticulture and Agriculture. With his distinguished career in horticulture and irrigation, Tim’s expertise is set to significantly enhance the company’s capabilities and service offerings.
In his new role, Tim will oversee horticultural and agricultural-focused customer accounts, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions and support. He will also serve as the primary contact for technical assistance, leveraging his extensive background to address the diverse needs of KAR UK’s customers.
Tim’s journey in the horticultural industry began in 1985, working in greenhouses. Throughout his career, he has held various pivotal roles, including Grower and Growing Manager. His experience spans several sectors, such as tomato growing, salad plant production, and vegetable production. This diverse background has equipped Tim with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the horticultural landscape.
In 1999, Tim transitioned from growing to irrigation, joining LS Systems, a renowned horticultural and irrigation wholesaler. At LS Systems, Tim initially served as a Technical Sales and Irrigation Design specialist. His role later evolved to Irrigation Projects Manager & System Design. In both roles, he was instrumental in designing and implementing irrigation systems across various sectors. Over a span of 25 years at LS Systems, Tim amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise, becoming highly skilled in all aspects of irrigation system design, project management, and customer support.
Tim commented: “I have worked with KAR for over 20 years and have always been impressed with the high standard of service, and great product range. I’m delighted to have joined the team and look forward to working with our customers.”
